Unlimited Business Success ... What does this really mean?
From the business plan forward, one is confronted with dilemmas, long hours, balancing family time with business tasks etc ... Excuse me while I take moment, I get tired just thinking of the balancing act it takes to merely survive in the business world. Without a doubt, owning a business is as challenging as it is rewarding. I know when I started my business 6 years ago; I had no idea how much work it would take to get to where I am today. But now, I am provided with the opportunity to reflect on past achievements with pride and that gives me the extra fuel I need to plan for the future with excitement.
Have you ever met an entrepreneur who didn’t want to succeed? I haven’t, but I have certainly met a few that had the best intentions and within the first few years had to shut down their operation because it was simply too much to handle. I began to study the behavioral patterns and found two things that were common; the first is the lack in confidence. While new entrepreneurs feel excited about their business idea, they are missing one key component and that is the confidence to get out there and introduce what their business has to offer to the public. One of the first things I teach my clients is to turn their focus from their products and services to benefits and solutions. Think about this for a moment (products = benefits … services = solutions). there attention is focused towards how they can help their prospects. Now isn’t that an amazing transformation! By showing their prospects that they are genuinely there to provide benefits and/or solutions and to help them achieve some type of goal, they can instantly begin to build the relationships they need to gain the confidence that will grow their business for years to come.
The second common trait that I found is that as a new entrepreneur, they feel like they should know everything about every aspect of their business. While we know that it is impossible to be an expert at everything, asking for help is still one of the hardest things to do. Seriously though, just think of all the hats a new small business owner to wear; Accountant, Office Manager, Customer Service Representative, Sales Agent, Marketing Director, Promotions Expert, and that’s just to name a few… Simply put, we have to be everything to everyone and I am here to tell you that just is not possible. So the sooner you ask for help, the sooner you will achieve your goals and objectives.
The moral of this article is that Unlimited Business Success is for everyone. Just simply focus your attention in the right areas and ask for help when you need it. You will quickly learn that success is the feeling you get when you are living the lifestyle you always dreamed of.
